A BSW Private Purchase in 2016, Rymska (FR) proved that she is continuing to round into form at the right time as she won the Winter Memories Stakes at Aqueduct on Thanksgiving Day.
Carrying top weight and breaking widest of all with a short run to the first turn, Rymska (FR) had many excuses not to win. Yet, like a good horse does, she responded to the challenge and exploded down the stretch to win by 1 ¼ lengths. She covered more distance than the next 5 finishers and came home in a jaw dropping 22.62 for her last ¼ mile.
Rymska (FR) has done nothing but improve in 2017 and after this 92 Beyer performance, she will be pointed to the G1 American Oaks on December 30th at Santa Anita.
Stallwalkin’ Dude finished the day off with a win in the G3 Fall Highweight Handicap marking the 40th Stakes win and 26 Graded Stakes win of 2017 for Sol Kumin and his partners of Sheep Pond Partners, Head of Plains Partners, Madaket Stables and Monomoy Stables.
