Since his purchase at the 2016 Keeneland November sale, LEOFRIC (Candy Ride x Lady Godiva) has nearly tripled his purchase price in earnings for Arkansas-based owner Steve Landers. Liz Crow signed the ticket for $100,000; his post-purchase earnings now total $296,500.

In his most recent start in the $500k G3 Razorback Handicap, Leofric was wide at the top of the stretch and came down the center of a sloppy, rail-biased track at Oaklawn to finish a game second. Prior to the Razorback, Leofric clinched 4 victories for owner Steve Landers at his hometown track, Oaklawn Park.

After running back-to-back 1 1/2 Thoro-graphs with room for growth, Leofric looks to make his next start in the $300,000 G2 Essex Handicap on March 17 at Oaklawn for trainer Brad Cox.
