The marquee event of the summer at Saratoga is upon us and BSW connected runners will feature throughout the Travers day card on Saturday.
In the G1 Ballerina, Mia Mischief will aim to take down her second top level race of the year for owners Bill & Corinne Heiligbrodt, Heider Family Stables and Madaket Stables. Acquired in the Spring of 2018, Mia Mischief attained G1 success for the first time in the Humana Distaff on Kentucky Derby day.
Midnight Bisou is looking to stretch her winning streak to six in the G1 Personal Ensign after an easy win in last month’s G3 Molly Pitcher. Midnight Bisou is aiming for her third G1 win on the year after victories in the Apple Blossom and Ogden Phipps for owners Bloom Racing, Madaket Stables and Allen Racing.
Channel Maker will look to build on his narrow 4th place finish in last month’s G2 Bowling Green while looking to gain his third top level success. The chestnut gelding was acquired by Adam Wachtel and Gary Barber through BSW Bloodstock before the 2016 Breeders’ Cup and went through BSW again when 50% was sold to form a new partnership with RA Hill and Reeves Thoroughbreds.
Multiple graded stakes winner Secret Message will be trying to rebound from a tough luck 4th in the G2 Ballston Spa after running into traffic last time out in the G1 Diana. Privately purchased out of an Allowance race at Turfway Park in the Winter of 2018 on behalf of Madaket, ERJ Racing, Herrick, Rebhan, Carroll and Bouchey, Secret Message has been in career best form this year, having won two of three starts, including the G2 Nassau at Woodbine.
