Black Friday and More; Coast to Coast Action Closes out Action Packed November

An already unforgettable month comes to an end with a veritable smörgåsbord of stakes action from coast to coast for BSW/Crow clientele.

The action starts later on today when Mr Freeze lines up in the G1 Clark at Churchill Downs for management clients Jim Bakke and Gerald Isbister. The chestnut son of To Honor and Serve will be looking to win his third graded stakes race of the year in addition to successes in the G2 Gulfstream Park Mile and G2 Fayette.

Bakke and Isbister are at it again early in the day on Saturday when Attachment Rate goes in search of his first graded success in the G3 Discovery. 2nd in both the Unbridled Stakes and Ellis Park Derby, Attachment Rate comes into this spot off perhaps his best effort, a 6 1/2 length allowance score at Churchill Downs.

Stakes action is aplenty at Laurel Park where Hello Beautiful and Lady Rocket go head to head in the Safely Kept Stakes. Hello Beautiful, a BSW/Crow syndicated horse is a perfect 5 for 5 over the Laurel Park dirt for owners Madaket Stables, John Frasetto, K-mac Stables, Mark Parkinson, Dan Carroll, Eric Rebhan and Magic City Stable while OBS April 2019 purchase Lady Rocket is a perfect 2 for 2 in her career and will be making her stakes debut in this race.

Whereshetoldmetogo has had a run of bad luck this year having been disqualified from a clear stakes win at Delaware in his latest start and will now look to right the ship in the Frank Y. Whiteley for Madaket Stables, Ten Strike Racing, Michael Kisber and Black Cloud Racing.

Private purchase Needs Supervision makes her first start since March in the Primonetta Stakes at Laurel Park for owners Gary Barber, Adam Wachtel, Madaket Stables and Howling Pigeon Stables. Her start comes nearly a year to the day when she won the Safely Kept on this exact card in 2019.

Top Line Growth finishes out the Laurel Park card for BSW/Crow clients where the homebred will be looking to bounce back for Stuart Grant’s The Elkstone Group in the Richard W. Small Stakes. The stakes winning and G3 placed four-year-old son of Tapizar is 4 for 5 lifetime at Laurel Park.

Kueber Racing has a big day at Churchill Downs where they’ll be sending out two public auction purchases, including the unbeaten stakes winner Coach in the G2 Golden Rod before taking their chance will Swill in the G2 Kentucky Jockey Club whom they own in partnership with Ten Strike Racing.

Across the country, Fluffy Socks will try to bounce back from a narrow defeat in the Chelsey Flower when lining up in the G3 Jimmy Durante for owner/breeder Head of Plains Partners.

Saturday comes to a close with a couple of chances in the G2 Seabiscuit Handicap which includes the return of My Boy Jack for owners Monomoy Stables, Don’t Tell My Wife Stables and West Point Thoroughbreds.

The action continues at Del Mar on Sunday when private purchase, in conjunction with Mandore Agency, Wootton Asset (Madaket Stables) takes on public auction purchase Royal Prince (Steve Landers) in the G3 Cecile B. DeMille, both of whom figure to vie for favoritism in the one mile event.

The weekend finishes with Swift Thoroughbreds, Madaket Stables and Wonder Stables’ Tamahere who makes her second start in North America in the G1 Matriarch after a dominant performance in the G2 Sands Point which saw her win by two widening lengths.
