Vault made it two in a row with her first graded stakes success yesterday at Belmont Park where she took the G2 Ruffian under a hand ride for owners Kueber Racing, Madaket Stables, Little Read Feather, Barlar LLC and Elayne Stables #5.

A half-sister to G1W Mirth, Vault had previously won an Oaklawn Park allowance with ease before shipping up to New York to contest the one-mile event. Vault’s record now stands at 7 wins from 21 career starts with 15 on the board finishes and nearly $420,000 in earnings.
