Making her first start in the US last out in the Memories of Silver, the three year old daughter of Starspangledbanner went last to first to bag her first stakes victory.

Stuart Grant’s Getridofwhatailesu lines up in the G3 Allaire DuPont tomorrow afternoon as well where she will be looking for her first graded stakes victory. The lightly raced five year old daughter of Ghostzapper took the Pippin Stakes before finishing 3rd in the G2 Azeri at Oaklawn Park over the winter.
Tuned (GB) looks for her own graded blacktype in the G3 Gallorette on Saturday for Al Shaqab Racing after finishing a good 2nd in a Keeneland allowance last out.
Outside of Pimlico, private purchases Tobys Heart and Hit the Woah will both line up in the G3 Soaring Softly at Belmont Park. Tobys Heart was last seen winning the Limestone Turf Sprint at Keeneland for Gary Barber, who joined original owners Terry Hamilton and Brian Lynch prior to the race. Hit the Woah made her turf debut last out for Hoolie Racing Stable and Madaket Stables when finishing a close 3rd in the Sanibel Island.
At Prairie Meadows, public auction purchase Vulcan makes his three year old debut for owner Steve Landers in the Golden Circle Stakes. The son of Munnings was a two-time winner last year before rounding out his season with a 2nd place finish in the Kip Deville Stakes.
Across the pond, the syndicated King’s Harlequin will be competing in the first French classic of the year, that being the French 1000 Guineas or the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches. The three year old daughter of Camelot ran a close 3rd in the Prix de la Grotte at ParisLongchamp in her seasonal debut.
